It was. Chris' parents took Emma for the day so I could do some stuff around the house, and it was so ridiculously fabulouse to have a day to myself, where I could just chill out in my own head and not have to worry about anyone else - namely Em. It's been a long time since I have had that much time to myself, and I seriously needed it - I was beginning to go a little wiggy. No matter how much you love your child, sometimes there's nothing better than not seeing them! So BIG THANKS to Papa and Geegee for keeping the munchkin all day!
What did I do with my alone time? I cleaned my room! I dusted and vaccuumed and re-arranged and shoveled out all the junk that has been building up in there since Emma was born. For those not in the know, Emma and I share a room, and it has always just been where we sleep, mostly over-run with my stuff, but I cleaned it out so that all of my things are neatly away in the closet and the room now has a large space for Emma to play. I'm excited about it, because I like to be organized, which is nearly impossible with a 2 year old!!!
I am also VERY excited about Shauna's big news!!! If you don't know what I'm talking about, then head over to her blog and check it out (if you don't know where, check out my links). I'm super proud. For tubers like us (aka TV addicts) it's a pretty big deal. I will expect you all to be loyal readers!!
Okay, I have blah blahed enough for one post. Not a super exciting update I know, but it is what it is.
Hope my peeps are all well!!
