Deedee's Weekend....

Friday: Royal BC Museum

I took Miss Em to the museum on Friday morning, and she had a great time running around blowing off steam. She was especially impressed with the Mammoth...she thought it was Manny from the movie Ice Age, and he's a rock star to the preschool set. The stuffed moose in the Fatal Attractions Exhibit also got high marks :0)

Saturday: Shauna's Birthday Party!!

Glenda and I put on our dancing shoes and headed out to celebrate with Shauna on Saturday night, and we had a great time. Being that this was only my 2nd night out to party since Emma was born (I tend to party at home), I was raring to go. Shauna was convinced I was going to "let my freak flag fly", and there were a lot of cameras flashing in my face through the night, so there may be proof I did just that. But hey, you know me, I just had a good time. By the way, I would have posted pics of me too, but I have none - I will post when I get some.

Glenda, not so sober anymore...it was so nice to cavort with her - it's been a long time since it was just the two of us played! Oh, and Glenda? HOLY CRAP!!!

Sunday: The Recovery.

Yeah, there are no pictures from Sunday, and be grateful! Thanks to a night of Killer Koolaids I was very...tired on Sunday. I was surprised, since I am not usually one to be hung over, but I think it was because I was not drinking my usual drink - my body thrives on the JD and Coke!! Luckily, Chris made sure I had a good nap in the afternoon (Thanks man!!), and I spent my evening watching a killer Canucks game (we won - 4-3 in a shoot out), and so the weekend ended on a happy note.
