Ugh.

God, it really has been one of those days. It began at 5am when Chris woke me to let me know he was in pain and had to get to the hospital NOW. Turns out the poor guy had to pass some kidney stones. Ouch!
Then, after entertaining Emma at the hospital for 2+ hours I delivered Chris home and had to rush out and take Em to the eye doctor. Turns out the little pumpkin is EXTREMELY far sighted. Crap. So I called my Mommy and shed a few tears that maybe my baby girl couldn't see all this time and I didn't notice...then I sucked up all that woe-is-me crap and helped Em through a bunch more eye tests. I was very happy to hear that Emma could indeed see, but had to strain and focus really hard to do so. So we went and got her glasses...two pairs...one she picked, which are silver/blue and have snoopy on them, and one I picked which are a copper color and will have transition lenses, so they will become sunglasses when she goes outside. She looks like my super cute little nerd...I love it. And they must make a real difference, because she loves them too.
Here's some pics.....(and by the way, Chris is feeling much better now)

I am totally in love with how that kid keeps getting cuter all the time! Are the frames in the picture the ones that you picked or her? I have to go look for a tiny princess pocket protector right now.
Or tiny argyle socks or something. I'm losing my MIND with the cuteness!

lol...I know, she's fantastic right?
Those frames are the ones she picked...the ones I picked won't be ready until Tuesday. I will, of course, post pictures of those too.

She looks great in glasses, just like her Aunt. I love she is my glasses buddy, and I'm with Jana. She totally needs some tiny argyle socks. You know your the best Mom that ever was right? Good, just checking.

Too cute! Em looks super cute with her glasses! I'm with Shauna, you're a super mom and people with glasses rule! :o) Girl Power! - I've been listening to some old school Spice Girls hence the girl power reference.
