HAPPY EASTER!!

It's a good holiday. My gift to you is....a super wickid picture post!!

We had a family dinner at my parents' today, and the kiddies has an Easter egg hunt. They all got baskets of goodies that included sweaters made by Grandma. They're so cute - they're all the same pattern in different colors.
Emma, Riley and Jacob with Nana Judi...Ethan was sick today :(
Note the girls modeling the sweaters:

Here's Jacob. He's VERY cute.

Here's Jacob's Daddy...he's cute too!

Emma and Uncle Donovan hunting eggs...

I took Emma to an Easter party for wee ones this week at Juan de Fuca. They played games and did crafts.

Emma made herself some bunny ears....

But Emma's fave was (as always), the bouncy castle. Especially when she figured out that she could have it all to herself when the other kids were busy with the games and crafts!

This Easter also marks the beginning steps of a new era...Emma having her own room! With Shauna moving at the end of the month, I plan to move into her own room, leaving Emma in the one she and I currently share. The first step is moving her to her own bed, because she has always slept with me in mine. We bought Em a bed I found online...toddler beds have proven too small for her because she travels in her sleep, so this is bigger, and it's enclosed, which is perfect. When we brought it home, Grandma made it her project and got to work.
The bed started out as bare wood....
But then Grandma sanded and painted. Emma's chosen color? "Cinderella's Ballgown Blue"
When it was finished, we moved it in and decked it out in Princess bedding (Em's choice again)...tonight is her first official night in it, and she's sleeping away while I type, but she's already tried it out for naps....
And I feel like I must comment on last Friday...it was freakishly warm here in Victoria...warm enough that I busted out a summer outfit for Emma. It was awesome to get out into the sun and bask - it's got me itching for summer.
It was the perfect day for an Iced Cap.
WHEW! I'm tired after that - aren't you? Anyway, FYI, the Stanley Cup Playoffs begin this week, and I have some crazy fan-girl plans...I will, of course, post pictures, so check back soon!
