Soccer!!!!!

This past Tuesday Emma had her first soccer class. Done through Juan de Fuca and Sportball, this class is for kids that are 2-3 years old, and it is completely non-competitive, focusing instead on the skills of soccer - kicking, dribbling, and that kind of thing. This is a class Emma is going to do with her Daddy, so I just got to sit back and take pictures. I was really impressed at how the class was run. The coaches made it really fun for the kids, and kept their attention as well as they could considering it was a pack of wee ones. Plus they gave her a really cute jersey.

Running laps with Daddy....Emma was really eager - she was first in line for everything, so excited to be playing, and taking it so seriously.
Doesn't she just look like she belongs on the field? She loves soccer so much, and is so crazy about this class. She has asked me twice a day since about when she gets to go do it again.

Can you see her there? Playing pass with her Dad.....they are practicing using their "power spots" to kick the ball.Sportball has classes for children ages 2 and 1/2 to 8, and not just soccer either. Check it out: http://www.sportball.ca/ I can't wait until she's old enough for the hockey class :)

Eek. Too cute for words. Auntie Shauna can't wait to go to all her sports games as Binkie gets older. Wait? I can drink at them right?
