Any news on the house???

I am getting asked. Lots. And the aswer is: Yup!
The mortgage is a go, the movers are booked, and the big day is November 2nd. Sadly, we haven't been able to get into the house as it is still a "building site", so we have to wait until our house inspection to get to walk through it. But we can drive by and peek in windows!!

Here's what the house is looking like:Here's the view from the kitchen window (the window to the left of the front door in the last pic). See Emma and Chris peeking through the back window? Here's a view from the back window. This is out living room/kitchen/dining area. Our "Great Room" if you will. Outside this picture, off to the left is the hall which leads to the bedrooms, the bathroom, and the garage. To the right, again outside the picture is a sliding glass door to a little patio area.So that's all I have for you on that today...I will take more pictures when i am able to actually go in the house.

And, as no post is really complete without pictures of Emma....

Here she is the morning of her birthday, moments before I woke her up for school....she is always so snuggly in the morning.
And here she is after school...I had to include this one because I love her hat. Her class sang her "Happy Birthday", presented her with the hat (note the 3 candles for turning 3), and gave her a candle to blow out. She loved it. Yay!!

Okay, now the Canuck game is on, so I am outie. xoxo

Hi Deedee,

The house looks great! How exciting! How big is it? (sq. ft) and how many bedrooms? bathrooms? Also, where is it?! Can't wait to see.

PS Thanks for the link to my blog!

Thanks Auntie,

The house is just about 1100 sq. feet, no including the garage. Tiny, but luckily there's only 3 of us :)
It is located in a new development called "Valley View Estates" which is just off of Happy Valley Road, and is right on the Langford/Metchosin border.

And you can be sure I will be inviting over the whole clan as soon as we are settled in!!
