Today was a very nice, quiet one. This morning we woke up to some lovely snow falling, so we decided to go for a walk.

After that we decorated our house for Christmas. This is our Christmas tree. It's a little bit Charlie Brown, but in the best possible way - it's tiny and decorated with lots of paper ornaments made by Emma :)
Other than that we didn't do to much. Chris and I played with Emma, Emma wrote a letter to Santa, we watched hockey (Canucks lost-boo), and now I am relaxing on the couch after Emma very nicely asked to go to bed at 6:30pm. Like I said before, a nice quiet day.I leave you with one last pic - Chris promised Emma she could pick out his birthday cake, and this is what she chose. He, being the awesome super Daddy he is, was just as excited as she hoped.

That's so great! I'm lovin' the cake! Did you guys get a real tree this year? I remember the past Christmas trees you've had in years past to be big and tall?
Nope, not a real tree....remember those $10 Canadian Tire trees we bought roughly 8 years ago?? Well, that's mine - first time out of the box. And it's not as tiny as it looks - it's as tall as me.
Past Christmas trees have either been my Mama's, or Shauna's.
