Intent on coming into the world exactly as scheduled, little Aidan Potter kept his Mama is labor for nearly 2 days, before appearing today, December 15th, his due date. He arrived by c-section and weighs in at 9lbs 4oz. And he looks just like his mommy, though Chris and I agree he has his Daddy's chin. He's beautiful and snuggly, and I love him. I think we should have lovely Auntie/Aidan days so that we can play and coo at each other. If I can get Glenda to let me have him a little....and get a babysitter for my own child....hmmmm....maybe I can get them to go spend some Auntie/Emma time...
But I digress.
From what I understand Glenda was a total trooper, and rocked the whole labor thing, and Nathan was her fantastic support. I think they both did an amazing job.
(Please note that Aidan was having his blood taken in the above photo, it wasn't me that made him cry!)
