This is the entrance to my house. I have this lovely little dirt patch, just waiting for me to do something great with it. I just can't figure out what!
So I ask you - what would you do? Does this space inspire any ideas? I am looking for something low maintenance, though this are does have a sprinkler head, so watering isn't a problem. Also, because of where it's located it doesn't get much sun during the day.

put down connecting bricks or stones or whatever, and create a lovely little picnic spot with a bench or some sort of seating, maybe a big piece of driftwood.
Because then you can get a nice potted shrub or something that you can move around if you need to.

I agree. Some nice stone with a stone bench or something. Along with some easy to handle potted stuff.
Hmm... what about those stepping stones you can make with kids? Make a bunch with Emma and display them there with some nice shrubs that are good in the shade. Just an idea! :o)
