We took the time to visit with all the people we don't get to see when we're in our usual, busy routine: Cousins Ethan and Max came by, as did baby Aidan, and we spent a morning with Harpaul, Raya, and Jana (that was my favorite). Emma also had a sleep over with Chris' parents, and so I got to be just me for a day, which was really nice.
I am back to work now, and that has been hard to adjust to. All those days off got me used to being able to stay awake past 10pm, and sleeping in past 5:30am!! My vow to break my coffee habit has been forgotten as I try to get back into the swing of things. I'll get back on the no coffee bandwagon after another few days - LOL.
Though I am tired, the days at home with my boo were great for my mental status. I have been making oodles of personal changes lately, ones that i will not be going into details about right now (ya, I know - so why say anything, right?). I have been setting many small goals for myself, and bribing myself to meet them. Last week I met my first goal, and so I claimed my first prize - I got my nose re-pierced! Weeee!
I hadn't used the piercing since before Emma was born, and I was finding I was missing it as of late, so it's done now, and I am really happy about it. I haven't taken any pictures yet, but just imagine what I looked like with a little nose stud before...it's the same really.

Have you noticed the pictures? I bet you have.
Easter was lots of fun for me and mine. The Easter Bunny left Emma a trail of little chocolate bunnies, leading from her room to the living room, where her basket of goodies waited. This was a big hit. In fact, the basket itself paled in comparison to the little chocolate bunny left beside her bed. She was so excited about it. I literally was woken up Easter morning by her barrelling into my room, slapping my face and screaming 'THE EASTER BUNNY WAS IN MY ROOM!!". Oh, and maybe I should clarify that they were screams of excitement, not terror.
After a quiet morning, watching the new DVD that The Bunny brought (see what i did there?), we headed to Grandma's for the usual family dinner chaos.
The kids were delighted to discover The Bunny had also visited Grandma and Grandpa's house, and there was an Easter egg hunt he left for them. There were also baskets personalized with photos of each kid, just so they would know which was theirs. I especially loved watching Emma open every single one of her found -plastic eggs and collecting the chocolate ones inside. The level of focus and concentration was fascinating.

Hmmm...that may be all for today. I am at work, so there are about 10 other things I could be doing. Cheers!
