A birthday post?

It could be. But in all honesty, I was really drunk, not many pics were taken, and the ones that were are pretty unflattering. But here's a nice one of me and Emma at lunch at my Mom's place on Sunday:

I had so much fun though. Birthday night was intoxicated fun, the next morning wasn't painful, I shopped, saw a movie, and slept. It was perfect really.

After that it was right back to life, and we've continued the fun. With Chris studying so much, Emma and I have been having girl time. Over the long weekend we went to the Saanich Fair...

This week was back to school, and Emma was excited to go back. Her cousin Riley is at the school this year, and the girls are in the same class in the mornings. I think they're going to have some fun. Frankly, I think they're adorable together.

I leave you with a picture from my nephew Max's 1st birthday today. It was sunny, we were at the park, he was cute, and Emma, Ethan, and Riley are obviously about to swoop in on that cupcake cake. (Which was crazy yummy BTW)
