That's right folks - she's 4 years old.
It's not how fast the time has flown though (and woooo has it)....what really gets me is what a PERSON my baby is now. And she's amazing. She's all sugar, spice, sass and a big sprinkle of cool.
Her birthday parties went well. One was just a low key dinner at Grandma's (Thanks Ma!), and then on the weekend was her first real kids party - friends from school and cousins from both sides of the family were in attendance. It was a gymnastics party, which made it pretty simple for me, because the kids (and Chris) blew off steam running and playing supervised by coaches, and I just fed them snacks after. Easy peasy. I had help too (again - Thanks Ma!).
She was so spoiled too! So many gifts. She loves them all, and she will be making Thank You cards this weekend with Mommy. Even the cool kids must say "Thanks!".
Opening Presents at Grandma's - this one was from her Daddy.
Princess Cake - Chocolate, of course.
The day after her b-day was a pro-d day at school, so Emma spent the morning enjoying some of her birthday riches: new ariel pj's, wickid new ikea chair, new make-up, and her awesome birthday hat from her class.
Along with the make-up, Emma had another request for her birthday. A necklace. A Rainbow Mermaid necklace to be exact. So of course I made sure she got one. Jana did an AMAZING job with it - Thanks Jana!! Also, you should all go check out more of Jana's beautiful work at the Out of Hand craft fair the weekend of November 20th.
This is where we had the party - a giant room of gymnastics fun....there are about 4 more trampolines and more not pictured...the place is huge.
Emma, mid bounce on a trampoline.
Birthday Party Cupcake Cake.
The party crew.
Blowing out the candles.....
I had originally planned to add pictures from our Thanksgiving dinner too. It was yummy.(Thanks Ma! AGAIN!) But I think there's enough for you to chew on in this post without me adding more. It was fun though - I always like to chill with the family. If you can call a house full of 20 people chill.
WAIT! I will adds one more picture, because it's my favorite from Thanksgiving Day. Then I'm outie.
