Woodland Park Zoo.

My feet hurt, but Em had so much fun, and Chris and I did too. There is so much to see - a carousel, a place called "Zoomazium" which is a huge environment for kids under the age of 8, and of course, the animals!!

Butterfly Emma.
Butterfly Chris.At the petting zoo...
lol...just kidding - there is obviously glass between the kids and the jaguar...he was really cool by the way.

We rented a wagon, so when Emma got tired, she was riding in style. Doesn't she look relaxed?

Elephant!!

Me and Emma on the carousel....I actually think I have posted a picture nearly identical to this before...one taken at the Luxton Fair. This carousel was much nicer.

I seriously got this close to a giraffe. It was so cool. For $5 we got to go to a special area and feed them and it was awesome. Lastly, a picture of the Zoomazium (the pic doesn't do it justice)...this was a huge indoor area for young kids that had puzzles, fossils, books, a stage for presentations, a baby play area, a kids play area, and even a giant "tree" that you climbed up, played in the top, and had a huge twisty slide down the inside of the trunk. Emma was scared of the tree thing, but played like mad in all the other areas. In fact, we stopped at the place 3 times throughout the day and saw the puppet show twice. Emma loved it. Chris liked it too...there were some big comfy arm chairs for parents to sit in, and he had a nap in one...I took a picture, but promised I wouldn't post it. So you get this one instead.
