Deedee Says....I LOVE THE CANUCKS!!!!!

You know I do. It's a big part of me. In fact, the depth of my love will be obvious when I complete my current "project", but that is another post, for another time. This post is all about me, Chris, and our trip to see the Canucks play Jaromir Jager and the New York Rangers.

Here's me, in our hotel room, getting ready for the game. I am such a sassy beast.

Before the game Chris and I went to dinner at a place called The Player's Chophouse, which is right across from our hotel. I strongly recommend never going there. The food was really great, but if you're not an urban peasant living in nearby Yaletown, the service blows. I swore I'd post this picture on my blog and bad mouth the joint, so here you go. Boooo!! Chophouse sucks!!!!

Actually, the morning after the game we did a tour of GM Place (which we have done before, but it's super fun for the hard-core addicts like us), and the Canucks were having a mandatory practice. I wasn't allowed to take any pictures of the guys on the ice, nor were we to talk to them if we encountered them, but when we were getting toured around the dressing rooms area Chris and I ran into Louongo in the hall and Chris said Hey to him since the tour guide wasn't looking. He got a "Hey. How's it going?" in return. It was awesome. And Lou is really tall.

Did you know they have special, specific, game-only nets? Neither did I. This is me inside one.

So we had a great time, and are now saving to try to get to a playoff game this year. Oh, and we won the game 3-0. Yayyyy!
