Ya, I went to the gym, but now I'm eating Pop Tarts....they must cancel each other out, right??

Last week we had to "get back into the swing of things" after 2 weeks off of school and work. It was a busy week, and very tiring. But yesterday we got to spend the day together, and that was nice. Chris and I took Emma downtown to see The Backyardigans Live, which is a stage show based on a cartoon Emma watches about 5 friends who hang out in their back yard and go on imagination adventure. They sing and dance too. If you ever get to catch an episode, I recommend it.

The first stop of the day was for coffee and snacks. Doesn't this hot chocolate look yummy??

Next was wandering through Chinatown, and stopping for BBQ Pork Buns to bring home. In case you don't know, Emma LOVES being Chinese, and we obviously don't take her down to Chinatown nearly enough - she was in heaven. She asked if we could "please come back to China World again?"

Souvenirs!!

"Your back-yard friends The Backyardigans...."
From L to R: Austin the kangaroo, Pablo the penguin, Tyrone the moose (my personal fave), Tasha the hippo, and Uniqua the uniqua (made up thing, obviously). The show was great.

Emma's cousin Riley was there too, sitting just across the aisle (flukey, huh?), and the girls had a visit during intermission. They boogied together in the aisle during the final song too, but my camera battery had died by then :(

I am finished my Pop Tarts now. They were yummy.

LOL! "China world"! That's so cute! I love it! If Aidan and Emma get married and have a kid, does that mean their child would be almost fully Chinese? :o) hee hee!

Yes! If we breed them, we should come out with a 3/4 chinese grand baby!!
Then we can all go to China World together ;)
