Oh. My. God.
Chris, Dan and I went to see the new movie 300 yesterday. It was fantastic. A feast for the eyes. Okay, yeah, it is rated 18A for all the violence and boobies and gore, so it's not exactly a family flick. But still...wow. I loved it. Here's a quote on the plot for those of you who don't know:
"Based on Frank Miller's graphic novel, "300" concerns the 480 B.C. Battle of Thermopylae, where the King of Sparta led his army against the advancing Persians; the battle is said to have inspired all of Greece to band together against the Persians, and helped usher in the world's first democracy"
Nothing better that 2 hours of delicious, sweaty, men with fracking hot bodies running around in loincloths. Seriously. I am not ashamed to admit I was turned into a silly, drooling mess by all the manly action on screen.
Oh, and before the movie was a teaser trailer for Ocean's Thirteen, which was a nice warm up for the man hotness, as it is a movie which has some sexy yummy men of it's own. Now, I admit I thought Ocean's Twelve sucked, but I have high hopes for this next installment. here's the link to view the trailer if you'd like:
